Our Team

I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and have lived in Tuscaloosa most of my life. I have been a lawyer for over 40 years and am dedicated to helping my clients find solutions to their legal problems. I believe that regular communication is an essential element in providing quality legal services. Despite the fast pace of our daily schedules, my staff and I are committed to be available to speak with you.

I have lived in Tuscaloosa my whole life. I attended Shelton State Community College on an athletic scholarship. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama and my law degree from Birmingham School of law. My practice focuses on Social Security Disability and Probate. Social Security Disability can be a very complex process. Social Security cases are challenging, particularly when people are at their most vulnerable. My goal is to facilitate successful claims to help people in need.

I am admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Alabama.

Born in Denver, Colorado, I am the son of a Methodist minister. When my father joined the Board of Global Ministries as a missionary, my family and I lived in the Southeast Asian country of Indonesia. As a young adult, I learned the value of hard work and observed the difference dedicated individuals can make in the lives of the less fortunate. I attended the University of Northern Colorado and Mississippi State University, and have held jobs as varied as salesman, purchasing manager and business administrator.
