About Me: 

I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and have lived in Tuscaloosa most of my life. I have been a lawyer for nearly 40 years and am dedicated to helping my clients find solutions to their legal problems. I believe that regular communication is an essential element in providing quality legal services. My staff and I are always available to speak with you. 

Education: 

The University of Alabama: Bachelor of Arts, 1976; Juris Doctor, 1979; Master of Laws in Taxation, 1985. 

Practice Areas: 

I regularly represent individuals and businesses in matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, fraud, insurance claims, commercial transactions, and bankruptcy. 

I am admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and the District of Columbia.

About Me:

I have lived in Tuscaloosa all of my life. After high school I attended Shelton State College on an athletic scholarship to play basketball.  I then completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama.  I represent Social Security disability claimants. That is all I do. I understand how difficult life can be for SSD applicants who sometimes must wait many months before their claim is heard. I do my utmost to properly prepare my cases and to navigate my clients through the process. I recognize how important SSD cases are to my clients and I am always available to answer questions.

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and have a strong commitment to serving our community. I have a broad range of experience, which I draw on to help my clients achieve their goals as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.   I understand how important communication is, and am dedicated to providing fast, accurate information to my clients.
